I consider myself an optimistic guy, but when I had the ho-hum screens of Dead Rising in the next two saw when I looked toward the O-like features list, and when I discovered that Frank was not in agreement with the West going back to house (he's covered wars, you know) I was more than ready, Capcom's zombies are licensed to directly follow up the deal. Hell, it was the first game back, more of a long, bad calls in frustration ran as Dawn of the Dead simulator.
LuckilyVancouver-based Blue Castle Games is not only my hope for the next Dead Rising 2, are actually much clamor for the sequel now. How? Through a demonstration, of course! A demo that cost five dollars and happens happens with captions, are "0 Case". Of course, this is not entirely true, since 0 case is not really a demo, it's ... OK, it's a demo, but there are some things that I really need to explain.
If 0 is not only a part of Dead Rising 2 extracted from the main roadServe as a game demo. If 0 is actually a well-equipped, the prologue is responsible for Dead Rising 2, which shows not only against the continuation of the many improvements and attractions do this, but for a measly five bucks. Ka-Ching! I believe you, Capcom - my five dollars, plus another sixty, when the sequel finally starts.
You see, Dead Rising: Case 0 does everything the original Dead Levante failed so completely. There are no solitary guardian trying to sabotage your mission. There is nomore complicated scenes. Your hero does not sound like a twelve year old. The shooting is no longer a disaster property. Your pets are no longer suicidal. Your hero does not run anymore as a creeping drinkers, and, oh yes, the memories.
Moreover, all that is really present in the original Dead Levant, as and better than before. The psychopath (and psychopaths, as a single case 0) is interesting and, well, psychotic. The dead have neverto kill more fun, partly on the ability to make zombies crashed. The biggest attraction by far, however, the intensity of Dead Rising is always ticking clock. You see, your hero, motocross Chuck Greene, is stuck in town with her daughter's infected, and you have to find motorcycle parts to assemble your escape. Unfortunately, your daughter needs medication every twelve hours to remain in the realm of the living. And you know what? Some shots just went with drugsand now the baby to be zombies, if you can find some ready. To top it all off, the army is on the road and are more likely to give you a bullet during a gun. In Case 0, you have to fight some serious deadlines. Chances are, you will be dead in 12 hours.
But it must not end like this! As my days of frantic search was reduced to a few hours, I actually started to sweat in my attempt to find the last remaining parts. In fact, at a time point is the case 0proved so intense that I have actually been used to kill my boss last mission to get the last part-time. I just received my bat points and hit his head in. I was desperate. It really shines in these last hours of intense play. Graphically the game is much better than its predecessor, although the overall average looking. It's little touches, though, like the setting sun and growing horde of zombies that will help to give greater strength of the game - the ticking clock. As the sunDips down below the horizon, you are both wide-eyed and horrified at the positive side, which also happens to describe the total failure to survive against the clock.
Closing remarks
So you have people. Dead Rising: Case 0 solves almost all problems of the original and at the same time very familiar as well. I could tell the system promising structural improvement escort missions, and the motorcycle section, rather wobbly, but these small items are bestcontrol left to the next Dead Rising 2 Bottom line? Dead Rising 2: Case 0 is a heck of a demo for a fee, which not only met its five million dollar price tag, but also exudes confidence in the next full game. Maniacs Zombicidal required.
